The Polish Dance Network is a formula of cooperation between eleven Polish dance centres. The network supports artistic exchange and the circulation of Polish dance production in Poland. It is the first nationwide project which aims to bridge the gap between the world of independent artists and the professional scene. In 2019, Polka dot Foundation chose the performance "ONE" (produced by Dada von Bzdülöw Theater, Wybrzeże Theater and the City of Gdańsk), to be presented within five partner scenes of the Polish Dance Network.
As part of the collaboration, the Polka Dot Foundation will also co-organize performances across northern Poland from: the Lublin Dance Theater, the Rozbark Theater, Janusz Orlik; Grupa Wokół Centrum, and the Living Space Theater.
The Polka dot Foundation joined the Network in 2018.
The Polish Dance Platform event, hosted in Gdansk between 5-8th September, will bring together and promote the most innovative and original dance productions, produced or choreographed by Polish artists, to polish and international guests. The platform will include other networks, such as The Open Platform, in a series of discussion panels and accompanying events that will extend the scope of the Polish Dance Platform to include and enable dialogue between artists and viewers. The Platform is being organised by the Institute of Music and Dance, and The Polka dot Foundation which, in association with The Teatr Dada von Bzudolw Association, was selected through a national contest to co-organiser.

We created Polka dot from the need to combine forces, innovative thinking and action in culture and art. We are independent artists and activists. We are connected by dance and Gdańsk connects us. We want to launch a creative exchange space between dance and other areas of life. Drawing from our previous experience and potential, we propose a new quality of the presence of dance in the sphere of art, social life and at the interface between culture and business. Our artistic and educational activities will allow building strong relationships in communities and developing artists' partnerships with cultural institutions and organizations for whom dance can be the language of the future.
